About Michael
Certified Rolfer® | Teacher | Bodywork Instructor | Mentor
For more than 25 years, I’ve helped people feel better, move better, and live more fully in their bodies. My work blends the foundational principles of Rolfing® with modern movement science, somatic awareness, and decades of hands-on clinical and teaching experience.
I was introduced to Rolfing as a client while navigating sports injuries and the effects of scoliosis after years of conventional treatment options that failed to create lasting change. That experience reshaped my path. Originally on track to become a physical therapist, I enrolled at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® in 1998 and graduated in 1999.
Shortly after graduating, I was invited back into the classroom as a teaching assistant — the beginning of a 20+ year career as a teacher, instructor, and mentor. I have served as faculty for the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute®, teaching both foundational and continuing education courses, and have taught internationally throughout the United States, Africa, and Australia.
Alongside teaching, I’ve pursued extensive advanced training, including completing the Advanced Rolfing Training twice, and studying with physical therapists, chiropractors, movement specialists, strength coaches, pain scientists, and rehabilitation professionals. My work is deeply informed by current research in pain science, somatic neuroscience, and embodied movement.
Clients often tell me:
“I wish I came here sooner.”
“No one has ever paid this much careful, thorough attention.”
“You helped me make sense of all the conflicting advice.”
Whether you’re recovering from injury, navigating persistent pain, or optimizing how you move and feel, my approach is deeply attentive, highly individualized, and rooted in real results.
I’m known for helping resolve issues that haven’t responded to other approaches—and for offering the kind of care people seek when they’re ready for real, lasting change.
